Thanks for the comment. There are plenty of wheels cheaper than the G920 including the Thrustmaster TMX ($200) which works with the TH8A shifter. Only thing you can’t do with the TMX is change the rim.

Because it’s the cheapest wheel on the production line, Thrustmaster wants you to buy their expensive products to be able to use the shifter.

Sorry for my delayed response. It is not compatible. You MAY be able to find a 3rd party adapter that can make it work, but you will have to look around. If you need help I can help you look. I know most of the places that have adapters I am just not sure I have seen one for G920 with Th8a off the top of my head.

The TH8A is not compatible with the 458 Spider unfortunately.

I don’t know off hand and actually I have seen the sizes vary a bit. The first knob I bough fit perfect I think it was 16 millimeter x 1.5 threaded insert. Other knobs I have gotten I have to make customizations to make them fit even though they were labeled as universal.

Do you know the mm and thread size of the shifter so I can know which knobs I can and can’t use on it??

You don’t have a USB cord that comes out of the wheelbase?

To hook up the TMX to the XBox 1:
1. Connect the pedal set to the connector at the back of the racing wheel’s base (looks like a phone cord plug).
2. Connect the power supply cable to the connector at the back of the racing wheel’s base.
3. Plug the power supply cable into an outlet.
4. Connect the racing wheel’s USB connector to one of the console’s USB ports (there is one on the left side and two in the back of the console)
5. Once your console is powered on it will calibrate itself automatically.
